On tonight’s Bering Sea Gold episode titled Lady Luck the Kellys finally strike gold — only to find that their light goes out.
The Kellys are waaaay behind on the scoreboard season gold tally before this week’s episode with a tiny 1.75oz haul worth a measly $2,275.
They’ve got a lot of catching up to do if they’re going to come anywhere close to Vernon Adkinson currently in first place with 33.58oz worth $43,654.

But as soon as they strike lucky their equipment fails (no surprise there then!).
Brad Kelly looks (kinda) excited when he gets a radio message up from the sea floor saying “look at all the gold!”.
But the joy doesn’t last long when the flashlight malfunction plunges the seabed into darkness.
Fans on the Bering Sea Gold Facebook page are pretty unified in their opinion that brothers Kris and Andy need to lose their dad if they’re going to do better.
